Hospitality Revisited

Liverpool Biennial 2013, Baltic Creative Gallery. The theme of hospitality at the Liverpool Biennial was the inspiration for three collaborative pieces of work. Textile artists were Invited to work in groups of three, each individual creating a piece of work over a period of one month and then sending this piece to the next collaborator. Working on top of or in response to the artwork received for a further month before sending it on for the last time. Responding to themes of friendship, exile and immigration 27 hungry dolls sailed across a sea of wishes to a tented pavilion and a dinner table laden with memories.
