‘It made me cry, and made me sick…homesick!’

Posted on January 5, 2015

‘It made me cry!’ was one of the lovely written in our comments book yesterday, ‘A fantastic way to dispel the post Chritsmas lethargy!’ read another. Away Being, my latest exhibition as curator of  The Thrive Archive saw the launch of a new Scottish concerto yesterday played beautifully by the Edinburgh Youth Gaitherin Big Band to over 150 people.

A mixture of installation, digital and textile art complemented the haunting images of abandoned croft houses from the Leaving Home photographic series that inspired me to ask Enterprise Music Scotland to sponsor talented composer and musician Mike Vass to create a new piece of music for Scotland. I also worked with members of the EYG band and with P4 children from a local primary school and residents of Restalrig to create the community artwork on display. Their work sits side by side with the work of professional artists Catriona Taylor, Liz Skulina, Ulrike Oeter and Isabel Ferrand. The work of photographers Ian Paterson and John Maher and the exhibition theme have also inspired young photographer Yazmin Conn and members of the creative UpMo photography group this week. The pop- up exhibition continues at St Margaret’s House until Friday, 10am -4pm.

I think that side effects of finasteride can be reduced if there is a great desire side effects of propecia certainly will not be wasted. At the time when the first symptoms appear the desire passes.
